5 Reasons to Attend TEDxWorthing 2026

1. Experience the magic of TED... at TEDx prices
The global TED conference costs thousands to attend. TEDxWorthing brings the same spirit of world-changing ideas to the South Coast for just £25-£50.
2. Be the first to hear 8 TEDx talks
Before sparking conversation online, every TEDx talk is shared on stage in front of a live audience. This is your change to witness those ideas first.
3. Meet people making a difference
Meet entrepreneurs, creatives, educators and community leaders who are shaping the future of Worthing and beyond.
4. Leave inspired to do something
Every TEDx talk begins with an idea. The best ones leave you seeing the world, and your own potential, differently.
5. Be part of Worthing's biggest TEDx yet
Join hundreds of people who believe ideas can change communities.
What is TED and TEDx?
TED began with one simple belief: ideas worth spreading, and more recently, ideas change everything.
Today, millions of people watch and attend TED and TEDx events because the right idea, shared at the right moment, can genuinely change the way you see the world.
TEDxWorthing is a celebration of local ideas, blending inspiring talks, live performances and storytelling into an unforgettable evening. It's less like a conference and more like a night at the theatre, where you'll laugh, reflect, question and leave with conversations that continue long after the final applause.
TED vs TEDx : What's the difference?
TED is the global brand who organise multi-day conferences across the word that cost between $5,000 and $100,000 to attend. TEDx is the licensed, community & volunteer-led alternative, bringing the spirit of TED to our town with tickets starting from just £25.
100% Volunteer Run
TEDxWorthing is run entirely by volunteers. These volunteers are passionate people from across Worthing who believe in the power of ideas, creativity and community.
Powered by Community
TEDxWorthing would not exist if it weren't for our team of volunteers, our sponsors and partners and of course, you, the ticket holder. So, thank you for all of your support, this is as much your event as it is ours.
